Obtaining a Payment Card
Online Cardholder training and subsequent test must be completed prior to applying for the Payment Card. The Payment Card Training can be found in TrainTraq within SSO. Search for training 2111872 Payment Card Training and begin the session. The training session and test will take approximately 30 minutes to complete.
Once training is completed apply for either the Individual Payment Card for a card in your name, or the Departmental Payment Card for a card in the departmental name. Be sure to fully read and agree with the statements contained in the application prior to signing. Completed applications must be routed to the department head or delegate for approval. Applications can be mailed to FMO-Payment Card App Processing, MS 6000, or they can be submitted by email to email@example.com.
Applications are processed to the provider within 48 hours of receipt. The application will not be processed until the Payment Card Training has been completed. The provider will ship the cards directly to FMO within 7–10 business days. FMO will mail the card to the departmental card administrator for distribution to the cardholder.
The envelope containing the card will include the Payment Card, information from the provider as well as the Individual Cardholder Checklist or the Card Administrator Checklist. The same information is also available on the Cardholder Resources web page.
