General Travel Requirements

Texas A&M University uses Textravel as their foundation for travel guidelines, in accordance with Texas Administrative Code, Title 34, Part 1, Chapter 5, Subchapter C, Section 5.22, which took effect on Sept. 9, 2008.

The information contained in this manual should only be used as a supplement to Textravel when using local funds. Please refer to Textravel for travel guidelines first. Further travel related information is also available in System Regulation 21.01.03 (from rules-saps.tamu.edu). All travel regardless of fund type should have a business purposes and benefit to Texas A&M University.
